  • The model of ministry objectives were to: (1) read the biblical text John 4:7-42 'with' and 'to' Ghanaian and African American women in a rural Spiritual Formation Support Circle, and (2) establish an income generating Sustainable Small Scale Enterprise Project. A Qualitative Enhanced Ethnographic Research Design was used. The research found that a significant sense of empowerment developed among project participants. A Tabre Women's Association of 110 women was organized to sustain the Spiritual Formation Support Circle and Sustainable Small Scale Enterprise Project. Through their collaborative participation in this rural Ghanaian village, women were empowered spiritually and economically.
