The author led church leadership to determine the purpose of Grace Evangelical Church concerning core values, vision and strategy. He looked at the history of the church, the biblical perspective for pursuing a purposeful church, how transformation has and will affect the congregation and the role of the leadership in the transformation process. Church leadership developed core values, vision and strategy from the Growing a Healthy Church seminar and refined a list of core values, which then defined vision and strategy. Finally, the product, a purposeful Grace Evangelical Church emerged which will propel future growth.
