  • The purpose of this ministry project was to develop an assimilation strategy of new adult members for Valley View Baptist Church. The author researched the biblical and theological foundations that mandate assimilation while analyzing the sociological barriers and cultural trends that impede assimilation. based on that knowledge, he then developed and implemented a comprehensive assimilation strategy. The four-step assimilation strategy consists of attending New Orientation Class, joining a small group, completing Discover class, and getting involved through Servant By Design. This assimilation strategy proved to be a tested resource for pastors and churches in similar contexts.
