The purpose of the project was to prepare and implement a model designed to help adult members assume discipleship roles at Enon Baptist Church. The director researched the appropriate materials at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Library and his personal library. He made research notations and collated the material for use in the model project. A discipler workshop and a twelve-week training program was implemented among the project participants. The conclusion was that an adequate number of adults were equipped in the cognitive and functional skills of discipleship and therefore could function in discipleship roles.
