Abstrait

The desire for the outcome of the project was to better equip lay ministers at Westown Baptist Church. The knowledge of the church's needs, theological foundations and theoretical presuppositions all pointed to the needs that the project addressed. The participants showed an increased awareness of needs and knowledge gained and, as a result, have come across ministry situations that have been better handled as a result of this project. The project became an instrument of planned programming to prepare participants to minister more effectively and knowledgeably. The project also served as a useful resource for the demographics of the church field. Materials researched and made available, such as graphs, video tapes, referral materials, books and periodicals were all helpful to the church and to the ministry at Westown Baptist Church.
