Most Christians who have been shaped by the Western perspective have been taught little of the historic roots and diversity of the ancient churches of the East. This video contains a summary of the history of Eastern churches and a theological analysis of Christianity and cultures. The video discusses the importance of the four Patriarchal cities of Jerusalem, Antioch, Alexandria and Constantinople. A common view of the means of salvation in the Eastern churches is given with particular emphasis on baptism, chrismation and Eucharist.
