  • Bible study materials which correlated with Christian school Bible studies were distributed to school families to promote Bible teaching to children at home. The hypothesis stated that such materials would motivate families to conduct Bible studies with their children. A parent evaluation of the project and a Bible test for children did not validate the hypothesis, but they did indicate that parents would welcome help in teaching the Bible at home. The study revealed that children who received home Bible teaching and/or who were home-schooled had more Bible knowledge that other children in the study.
