Abstracto

This project examines an often overlooked opportunity for ministry and evangelism by developing a seniors ministry in a Chinese church in Vancouver. Based on historical, physiological, psychological, sociological, and biblical perspectives, the project reports and evaluates development of a ministry, including a regular seniors' fellowship meeting, a special series of five-lesson Bible studies, and related programs such as small groups for sharing and prayer, individual Bible reading lessons, visitation, counseling, social services, and activities. Recommendations for further development include spiritual growth, leadership training, visitation, and caregiver education.
