  • This project proposes a process of interaction and analysis to encourage self-awareness and transformation among African American midwives and other caregivers in Landmark Ministries Church (Oakland, Calif). In 10 small-group sessions participants design and implement a curriculum of group exercises, biblical and theological studies, original writing, and conceptual thinking. The process promotes the presence of self-care indicators in caregivers who have previously reported self-neglect and compulsive tendencies.
