Abstracto

This project mentored and trained seven church leaders serving in people-based ministries. Chapter 1 introduces the church and the Edwardsville area, goals, rationale for leadership development, and methodology for challenging leaders. Chapter 2 examines biblical perspectives on leadership by considering Nehemiah, Jesus and his disciples, the Great Commission, the early church, and spiritual gifts. This chapter considers theological foundations for mentoring. Chapter 3 considers Christian and secular perspectives on leadership including evaluation, communication, working with people, planning, and vision. Chapter 4 presents methodology and content in the project. Chapter 5 evaluates the methodology of this project against the original goals.
