Abstracto

This project was designed to describe the options which are available to the district superintendent who seeks to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the small-membership church. This project includes a review of United Methodist suggested models; it also includes some models which other denominations are using. There will be added support data from two surveys taken in the South Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. These findings were shared with and evaluated by the Bishop's Cabinet of the South Indiana Conference, Conference Council on Ministries Staff, and selected individuals who shared specific interest and experience for small-membership churches.
