A declining/dying church may not be a lost cause, but could thrive again. In a case study of 6 turnaround churches, the author identifies 4 common requirements for this to happen. A turnaround pastor will need to apply understanding -- knowing what the church is to do. He will need excellent listening skills, and a commitment to Jesus' lordship. And finally, a turnaround pastor must know how to make disciples and do it.
