  • This project-thesis examines shared professional ministry in selected congregations of the United Church of Canada to create appropriate and practical guidelines for its establishment, maintenance, evaluation and termination. The approach is basically 'phenomenological,' involving in-depth, structured interviews with twenty professional ministers who work, in pairs, in team relationships. Their experiences of and attitudes toward ministry, professional ministry, shared professional ministry, power and the management of ministry are analyzed in the light of a Christian feminist perspective.
