Abstract
  • This project is a case study of the culture at Liberty Church that fosters high levels of volunteers and produces volunteer leaders at the highest levels of the organization. The exercise studied the church using cultural components that emerged in the literature review from the management field of non-profit organizations. The components that were discovered were then used to create a series of interviews and surveys for the volunteers. The result of the project concluded that the culture of Liberty Church contained six of eight components that are important for fostering high rates of volunteerism. This research can be helpful to organizations that depend upon volunteers.
