- Injured soldiers are mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually vulnerable. The Fort Dix Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) Action Plan assists soldiers in strengthening their personal resilience and enhancing their recovery through a proactive educational approach that addresses the whole person, including the spiritual dimension. It provides a structure that encourages soldiers to reflect on their values, define their goals, identify and participate in activities that enhance recovery and begin their transition either back to their units or into civilian life. This project explores the concepts of transition, proactive coping, building resilience and reintegration training as integral components of the recovery process.
