Abstract
  • The purpose of the project is to present a model that will facilitate opportunities for Chinese Buddhists and Chinese Christians to engage in dialogue at the grass-roots level. There were three dialogue sessions in the project. Each session lasted about two hours. The dialogue partners were a priest, a pastor and lay members from each religious community. The methodology of the dialogue was questions and answers. A set of questions was formulated to focus on the concerns of each dialogue session. This project has confirmed that a beginning level of understanding is possible in interfaith dialogue.
