  • This project explores the Christian theology of hope as it relates to elderly persons faced with traumatic life changes. Hope colors an older person's view of the future and is a powerful asset in surviving stresses and tragedies. Life changes are often undeniably difficult for many people, but they are made less difficult if hope can be sustained and nurtured as change occurs. God's promise to the frail elderly and to every Christian is that hope will be provided even in circumstances when change is no choice!
