- Abstract
- This project develops a plan to increase donor giving to The Center for Student Missions by 50 percent in 1995 and 1996. Foundational to an understanding of fund raising for ministry is the precept that God owns everything and people are merely stewards of what God already owns. This idea of giving back what already belongs to God redefines the twentieth-century concept of ownership. Christians are stewards of all God has given. With a historical perspective on fund raising, both from the church and parachurch organizations, the project develops a practical and appropriate plan for raising money into the twenty-first century. The project further seeks to develop a donor profile and gain insight into the motivation behind giving to missions and ministry.
