The city of Detroit was turning into a great gambling center of Mid-West. The ill effects gambling might bring to the immigrants like the Korean community was enormous. To understand what was the thought pattern of Korean community towards gambling surveys were taken, and based on these studies a few possible preventative measures as well as remedial methods were contemplated. Generally, Koreans consider gambling as a social evil, but temptation was unmistakable there. The causes of people who gamble were investigated and plans to win the victims back were established. Also as a church, how can we initiate and approach this problem so that the Lord's name should be glorified was presented.
