Abstract
  • This project proposes to reach, restore, and retain inactive members of New Zion Baptist Church (Winona, Tex) through enlisting, training, and directing a small care group to contact and minister to inactive members. Of 453 resident members of the congregation at the beginning of the project, 148 or 32.67 percent are inactive. The project trains a care group to contact, interview, and minister to these members.
