Abstract
  • This research is designed to explore and discover the extent to which pastoral care in the local church is recognized and exercised as a ministry by the entire congregation. Through the survey and research method two types of questionnaires were formulated and developed. They were then sent to a randomly selected group of clergy to elicit information in the pastoral care ministry of the church. Conclusions include both clergy and laity should assume responsibility for the pastoral care ministry of the church.
