  • The purpose of this ministry project was to address the need for volunteer ministers at the Lakota Hills Baptist Church. The program laid an infrastructure for workers, communicated the need, and recruited workers for ministry by assisting church members in overcoming barriers that hindered them from becoming involved. Both scriptural teachings and motivational theories were considered when developing this strategy. Scripture was presented that demonstrated how men of faith often wrestled with fulfilling God's plan. It was determined that teaching scripture, addressing barriers, and planning to recruit members will produce an increase of volunteer workers.
