  • Christ ministered to youth, yet many incarcerated youth are outside of the church's ministry. Rings of Fellowship is a Bible curriculum for at-risk youth, developed by Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Rings utilizes experiential learning techniques and peer dynamics to provide a positive Bible study experience and to promote local church involvement. In addition to knowledge of the Bible, changes in attitude and behavior are evaluated. Research demonstrates a lack of church connection and knowledge of the Bible prior to the study and subsequent positive changes in the attitudes and behaviors of participants.
