  • The purpose of the project was to guide select members of Oakland Baptist Church of McDonough, Georgia, to develop a marketing plan to be utilized in creating a postive awareness of Oakland Baptist Church in Henry County, Georgia. Five church members were chosen to engage in ten sessions about church marketing which would include the development of a marketing plan for Oakland Baptist Church. This marketing plan was designed to create a postive awareness of Oakland Baptist Church among the unchurched of Henry County, Georgia. Evaluation of the project confirmed that the selected leaders were able to apply principles of marketing to a church.
