Abstract
  • This project addressed the question of how faith impacts the lives of people who are incarcerated. The project was conducted at the North Piedmont Correctional Facility for Men and Women, a medium security facility, with only one chaplain serving both the men's and women's units. The researcher worked with the chaplain and the inmate population, using interviews, seminars, a questionnaire, and a self-analysis document, to confirm that persons who are confined benefited from programs which were faith based.
