Abstract
  • This thesis applies the principles of family system theory to patient care in the hospital setting. Chapters one and two present family system principles as a way to practice pastoral care from a patient system view. Chapter three is a presentation of the healing stories in the synoptic gospels through the lens of relationships. Chapter four and five present general insight into the spirituality and attitudes of doctors and nurse who are part of the patient system.
