- The purpose of this project was to involve the members of First Baptist Church in an effort to enhance the community's perception of the church. Through historical research, a thesis was developed that a public relations campaign was a suitable method for the effort. With the assistance of the public relations committee, a nine-week public relations campaign was designed, implemented, and evaluated. The project was an attempt to demonstrate the genuine concern First Baptist Church had for the surrounding community. After reviewing the findings of the research, the author concluded that the campaign did enhance the community's perception of the church.
