Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip a select group of students (senior high through college who had experienced a call to Christian ministry) from the temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to develop a vision to carry out God's call. A seminar was facilitated to develop each participant's cognitive, affective, and behavioral readiness for ministry. The goals of this project were to research resources relatd to preparing for God's call, to develop teaching materials to assist students in developing a vision to carry out God's call, and to equip students to carry out their call to Christian ministry. A paired-sample T-Test was calculated to compare the mean pretest score to the mean post-test score. The results from the pretest and post-test affirmed that the project was successful in reaching the ministy goals related to the cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains of readiness for ministry.
