- Abstract
- The purpose of this project was to develop a process for the training of a newly formed pastor/parish relations committee (PPRC) in a local congregation of the Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. After establishing a PPRC in a local church and identifying the need for a training process, such a process was developed. Four churches in Penn Northeast Conference, UCC, agreed to go through the process to test its effectiveness and each church evaluated the process. The project showed the process worked. The need for a consultant to lead the process became evident.
