  • The researcher noted that many churches in the areas surrounding military bases do not seem to intentionally reach out to minister to military families. She sought to discover if starting a Bible study for military wives would be an effective way to intentionally minister to and support someone whose spouse was serving in the military. After trying this study twice, she learned that military wives can indeed benefit from learning how their story connects to God's story. However, based on low participation, the researcher concluded that there are additional steps churches need to take in order to reach military wives.
