This project describes the initiation and the development of a television ministry by an independent Catholic parish in West Hartford, Connecticut that offers an image of a liberal and affirming church on issues of spirituality, social justice and diversity. What was borne out by previous research held true for this project: a television ministry doesn't increase church membership. However, our research has demonstrated that people do watch religious programming, and with those who have participated in this ministry, we have forged informal links of church. They have given witness that God is revealed to them through their lived-out experiences.
