  • The goal of this research project is to offer suggestions that can help western missionaries increase the effectiveness of their evangelistic outreach by suggesting how they can alter their style so that honor and shame considerations are taken into account. The researcher interviewed thirty Muslim-background believers living in Jordan at the time of the research. The researcher wrote a 'ground theory' research report, interpreted and discussed the findings of the research, including theological reflections on the findings, and gave conclusions and recommendations both for the western missionary and for other researchers who may embark on a similar type of research.
