Abstract
  • This project proposes and designs an eight-week internship program that helps mission students of Philadelphia College of the Bible to understand and experience culture shock while developing spiritual disciplines. Research in Christian and secular literature demonstrates the prevalence of failure in intercultural missions and also that there is a body of knowledge that will enhance training of intercultural missionaries. Interns can experience the full culture adjustment cycle and learn how to repeat the process with spiritual growth.
