E. Stanley Jones founded the Chrstian Ashram in 1930 to inspire the transformation of all persons to be followers of Jesus Christ, and thereby discover, renew, and deepen their relationship with God, self, and others. Now 35 years after the death of E. Stanley Jones, the Ashram movement is at a crossroads. The movement seems 'dated' and many are not familiar with the writings of Jones. This project contributes to the revitalization of the United Christian Ashram by revisiting and adapting the writings of E. Stanley Jones for use as foundational documents and to serve as the theological grounding for this organizational turnaround initiative.
