Abstracto

Short term mission trips have added new dimensions to the church's understanding of mission. This project focuses on the importance of theological reflection in the reentry stage of the experience. Theories of faith development and sociological understandings of cultural awareness offer insight into the process of transformation. Intentional reentry exercises based on these understandings assist in helping the short term mission participant to engage in serious theological reflection so that they might integrate the experience more fully into their lives.
