Abstract
  • This project tested the feasibility of teaching children biblical content through an experiential learning theory. This theory recognized that each student brought with him or her a personal understanding which could be built upon through feeling, observing, thinking and doing to become a biblical concept. The study projected that new knowledge would be created through process theology by the transformation of experience. It employed the direct encounter method of creative drama through the modes of comedy and tragedy. The study indicated that all students learned at a significant level but that change was very gradual.
