  • This project is offered in three parts. Part 1 examines such issues as apodictic and casuistic law with relation to the decalogue and covenant code. Included is a study of rebirth and discussion of treaty and covenant and the social implications of the covenant with respect to settlement and conquest. The conclusion emphasizes the uniqueness of Israelite religion. Part 2 addresses the Mosaic and Davidic covenants and is a 'walk through the Bible' for lay discussion in a beginner's class. Part 3 is a group lay evaluation of the project.
