The ascension, though often perceived as only church doctrine, is a pivotal event in shaping the identity of the Church. This project outlines how one church celebrated our union with Christ in the ascension during a four week worship celebration. By rediscovering the meaning of the ascension the church rediscovered how our union with Christ in the ascension gives the church its identity, community, hope and purpose today.
