- This study confronted the profound lack of spiritual knowledge and faith formation among the youth at the United Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio. Biblical lessons were used to enhance the faith and spiritual formation in the youth of the Intermediate Sunday School class through the process of Christian Education. Pre and post surverys, questionnaires, and observations measured the effects of the lessons. The results revealed that the use of the lessons enabled the Intermediate Sunday School class to be endowed with a strong spiritual foundation that affords them a greater opportunity for faith and spiritual formation.
