Abstracto

Christians need to see the 'bigger picture' of God's redemption of humanity through Christ. The big story can be obscured by over emphasizing the moral lessons to be learned on the Old Testament narratives as well as by wrongly reading Jesus into passages in ways that are not fair. Instead, this project develops sermons for the fall semester of 2006 that attempted to demonstrate the Christological center of the Bible and it was informed by academic research. The sermons proved to be helpful with some suggestions specified and they were evaluated by interviews and questionnaires with students.
