Abstract
  • This project proposes a process for contextual development of curriculum guidelines for religious education, using a method and model suggested by the work of James D and Evelyn Eaton Whitehead and testing the process with religious education leaders. Recent ecclesial, theological, and anthropological literature in contextual theology, catechetics, cross-cultural training, and aspects of Hispanic, African, and Asian American cultures offer insights for curriculum design in culturally diverse settings.
