  • The goal of this project is to solve the problem of the minimal participation of seasonal residents attending a church in the Sun Belt each year for a duration of up to six months. The objective is to evaluate the thesis that seasonal residents will increase involvement in the life of the congregation as meaningful relationships are established, and as they are made to feel a part of the congregation. To test the thesis a model of ministry is developed, tested, and evaluated. The results indicate the validity of the thesis. Additional insights suggest ways to further develop the model.
