  • The church is called to be an inclusive community but since many African-American males feel excluded from the worship and ministries, the church must seek to include them. This study examines the role of worship in the African-American communityand why African-American males feel excluded from worship. The conclusion is tht worship in the African-American community has always been a source of hope and a means of liberation of its people; therefore, the involvement of African-American males in the church will instill within them hope to deal with the difficulties they face in the world.
