Abstracto

In this report, the author proposed to create a self-help manual to motivate and inform sponsor churches to plant new mission-type churches. She proposed creating the manual with input from recognized church planting experts, sponsor churches, and church planters, and revising it after it had been used by participating sponsors and planters. The manual was evaluated as failing to motivate uncommitted churches to become sponsors. It did assist sponsors and planters who were already committed. However, it was evaluated as using a faulty church-based paradigm instead of a Kingdom-based paradigm.
