This research project involved a survey of youth ages 10-18 at Bethany Baptist Church to develop a strategy that would increase their involvement in the mission and ministries of the Church. Responses of 34 participants indicated that the provision of programs and activities were a major factor in influencing youth toward participation in the church. A significant number of the participants felt wanted and needed in the Church. They also responded that having the opportunity to participate in spiritual disciplines and interact with adult mentors helped enhance their religious experience.
