Abstracto

The researcher taught the elders of Broadway Christian Church (Pueblo, Colorado) a twelve-session series entitled 'A Biblical Philosophy and Practical Methodology of Praying for the Physically Sick' to determine whether or not the elders would undergo measurable cognitive and behavioral change as a result of participation in the project. Quantitative measurement was gained through statistical analysis of scores from identical pre- and posttest questionnaires. Non-quantitative evaluation included discussion, interviews, and observation. The results were positive. Changes were realized in the elders' knowledge about the ministry of divine healing, their attitudes towards praying for the sick, and the frequency of their participation i n praying for healing.
