The purpose of this project was to improve the spirituality of the people at Antioch Church of the Nazarene (Overland Park, Kan). The thesis was that people can be taught and trained how to pray and as a result experience growth in Christ. The methodology focused first on the pastor: his study of prayer, practice of prayer, recruiting, teaching, and training prayer group leaders. He scripted prayer concerts and reflected on them. He also gave inventories to the participants. It was concluded that spiritual growth does result when prayer is taught in this manner and people are trained by this particular methodology.
