Abstrait
  • Cities across the nation are comprised of neighborhoods blighted from the injustice of poverty. The goal of this project entitled 'galvanizing faith and neighborhood based leaders to address poverty through the faithworks community development leadership institute,' is to provide faith and community-based leaders with the training, technical assistance and collaborative relationships needed to improve the quality of life of the poor. The outcome of the training was for 'faithworks fellows' to self-report: an increase in skills and inspiration; an expansion of vision; and an expanded network of community partners to help them reduce poverty's impact in their respective communities.
