Abstract
  • Is 'Lectio Divina', when used in a small group setting, an equally effective tool to bring about faith sharing through storytelling for senior high youth, young adults and older adults? To address this question the author used the pro-active research method, meeting with the three age groups weekly for twelve weeks. The author assumed that lectio, practiced in a small group, would not only deepen one's relationship with God, but would invite faith sharing from one's life story. Contrary to her assumption, findings showed that faith sharing through storytelling is not an 'automatic' result of practicing lectio, but requires greater intentionality.
