Abstract

This project examines the use of expository preaching and teaching to help church members develop their personal ministries at Eastside Baptist Church, Tifton, Georgia. Two main thrusts were employed: preaching a sermon series entitled, 'Serving God' and teaching a study course entitled, 'Serving God.' This work contends that using expository preaching and teaching to help church members develop their personal ministries is an approach which God honors and blesses.
